Yard Of The Month

Last night Jim went out the front door to go to the neighbor's house.  When he went out the door, it looked like there was a "For Sale" sign in the front yard.  He was afraid the neighbors had had enough and decided to help us get out of the neighborhood.  Lo and behold, the sign was the "Yard of the Month" for the neighborhood home owner's association.  Notice that there are no flowers other than the day lilies.  The hydrangea hasn't even bloomed yet.  But, there you have it  .  .  .  yard of the month.  They must have been looking for simplicity and not clutter.  In any event, Jim was thrilled.  So, here are the pictures of the yard of the month.  Some of the credit goes to Jim's sister and brother-in-law from Illinois.  Last May when Brycie was in China bringing Hutson home, they came to visit "grandad" and helped Jim pull up some icky bushes and transplant some liriope.  Thanks Janis and Dave.
